While food can be art, who’s to say that restaurant interiors cannot? Chromed Design Studio curates Pikkle to create a quirky dining ambience…
This 2500 sq. ft. establishment gracing West Delhi’s restaurant scene is dramatic, indulging the users with the best of flavours and flair. Striking a brilliant first impression, its design reveals itself bit by bit and then all at once; its details evoking a compelling vibe, engulfing the user in an almost-fictional world.

An eye-catching entrance, lined with artificial green plants and a trail of yellow lights piques interest, and sets the stage for a markedly distinct lobby.

The walls are clad in black Markino and Satyari panels, with brass strips running horizontally across them to play up the aesthetics. The lobby also features a souvenir wall, decked with props, plants and pickle jars. The marble top and mirrored glass of the reception desk is another arresting feature.

Inside, the infectious atmosphere is a result of elegant furniture – plush sofas and wine-coloured upholstery – set against the vibrant colours of the interior materials used. Flooring patterns of light-yellow terrazzo and chequered black-and-white tiles contrast the fish-scale patterned green tiles, textured walls, wallpapers and MDF panels. Two central columns clad in ply, rise like trees, anchoring the space. While the walls also display graffiti, the use of wood and brass give the space a rich, sophisticated aesthetic. Circular white lights akin to glowing orbs, cast a flattering light over the space, while a metal chandelier anoints the DJ floor area as a distinctive performative space.
