Dubbed 'The spatial stimuli' - an architect's office' by the architects, the office of Creative Designer Architects [CDA] is a 2400 sq. ft. open, purely rectangular floor plan that is designed to forge interaction and camaraderie in dynamic invigorating environs.

An open plan with perfunctory glass partitions characterises the office that is highlighted by an imposing, fluid wooden ribbon that serves as the worktop, entrance arch and bookshelf – all in one. Using this organic feature as the mainstay, the office sports an interesting interior, moving away from a conventional grid-like layout and generating an element of intrigue for the visitor.

A raw palette of exposed grey concrete juxtaposed with the wood from the fluid ribbon and frosted-glass partitions is languidly peppered with bright sunshine-yellow chairs and wall graphics that sport motivating text. The vocabulary of curvilinear forms is sustained throughout; reflected from the very entrance to the office.

Setting a playful vibe to a serious work ethic, the architects attribute the physical element to one’s psychological make-up, where they quote psychologist, Kate Cordon: "Curves are, in general felt to be more beautiful than straight lines, they are graceful, pliable and lead to a burst of activity in the brain leading to innovation and experience".

The strong visual axis that results from this interior architecture, complements the energy around. With functional segregations viz., entrance cum waiting area, the director cabin (in the South-western corner), and a central studio zone dominated by the open loop (that also acts as a small design library), the office symbolizes enlightenment, free-flowing innovativeness and burst of activity.
