Luxurious spaces and experiences that resonate the essence of spending time together as a family anoint this home that is designed as a stretched linear box given the various site forces. Aligned with the cardinal directions, each space receives ample morning sunlight and enjoys undisturbed views of the adjoining landscape, with the same angles continuing in the interior spaces of this ground-plus-one home and building on an omnipresent inside-outside connect.

An interesting aspect of the entrance driveway and vehicular drop off is the use of calibrated granite clad walls with a singular puncture that marks the entry point to the house. The main door of the home stands strong against a dark grey backdrop as it establishes the aesthetic vocabulary and acts as the first of many warm wood finishes in this design. Strategically located in alignment with the entrance door are two elements of a larger-than-life brass sculpture that seems to frame the doorway making for a picture perfect and very welcoming entry point.

The formal living room is separated from the well-manicured landscape by clear glazing and opens to the adjoining veranda space that houses the informal seating and bar. The centrally located family living connects the master and guest bedroom as well as the all-metal-and-wood open staircase that leads to the upper floor. The upper level houses the son's bedroom in hues of grey, dark wood tones and camel tan bed back and the sharply contrasting daughter's bedroom which explores a muted aesthetic with white stained oak wood furniture in a very English setting. On the same floor, the media room or lounge space announces itself on the exterior as a cantilevered wood clad box floating above the swimming pool like a diving board, in perfect alignment, inviting one to take a plunge!

The landscape design features a large pool with a built-in pool bar housed between strategically located Frangipani trees. The adjoining wooden pool deck boasts of the all-glass gym on one side and the shaded gazebo on the other. A fluted solid wood backdrop of the gazebo features a concealed door that leads to the in-house spa and changing facilities.
Mood lighting, mammoth art pieces, mixed palette of understated materials viz., micro concrete and high sheen corrugated copper; and soft landscape elements continue throughout all the spaces oozing luxury, while the colour and finishes palettes are as minimal as can be!
