Studio Bipolar’s health café
design endorses nature as the ultimate therapeutic!
Hwealth Cafe in New Friends
colony, Delhi
is completely au naturel. The 2200 sq.
ft. café builds on the concept
of being in touch with the surrounding lush greenery, while consuming all-natural
products inside. This isn’t just a gourmet dining experience; all five senses
are forced to react to the ingenious use of pinewood, clear glass and funky
hexagonal-tiled floor pattern.
The space is divided into separate seating zones that
cater to a wide range of customers; although, it appears as one cohesive whole via
the use of polished pinewood ceiling members, pendant lamps and tungsten
filament bulbs. The cafe is split over two levels; you enter at the ground
floor and are immediately greeted by branching pinewood members that create a
canopy for the space. Above that, a green metal girder shoots across, dropping
pendant lights over the seating. The cool metal stands strong against the light
wood and soft textures, ultimately pulling the space together.
On the upper level, the glass perimeter brings in
unconstrained views. Taking complete advantage of this, the upfront bar-style
seating faces full-height windows to ensure a scenic view for those customers
looking for a quiet nook. The natural green exterior flows inside, emphasising
the café’s earthy theme, well-portrayed in the use of deep green for its
branding.
Generously used and beautifully complementing the
orange lighting is the oak wood furniture, false ceiling and staircase. The
undulating placement of light fixtures highlights the sculptural quality of the
pinewood vertical members. The use of fresh and vibrant tones coupled with the
clever use of glass and wood lend classic touches to Hwealth Café that quite
simply reminds you that eating clean and polishing off your plate comes as a
guarantee here.
