Glass walls, slender structural members, ceiling-camouflaged HVAC system and an all-white interior prepped up by bright sunny yellow chairs – sit in the lap of a lush green patch in the gated community being developed by Goyal Group Development, Bengaluru.

Peer within and the glass box is the chic, contemporarily-styled marketing site-office of the development company, designed to act as a beacon that attracts blatant attention; while, functionally, it is the reception cum conference area that services potential property buyers - an apt example of minimalistic architecture meets elegant interiors!

This striking 980 sq. feet office space metes out an arresting architectural vocabulary. Initially planned as a green house with a glass ceiling included, the structure was revised to house a non-transparent roof, white glossy epoxy floor and glass walls with a shaded smoky film that gradients from opaque to transparent, keeping the ambience fresh at all times.

Its interiors are anointed with a fluid, reflective partition that houses the reception on the concave side and camouflages a state-of-the-art conference room dominated by an angular white table and modern chairs on the convex; the space appearing rounded and oblique respectively. Shimmering mesh light balls suspended from the ceiling and a minimalist ambience complete the picturesque setting.

The full-height tinted glass is the only physical barrier between the white interiors and green exteriors. During the day, the indoor spaces are illuminated generously by natural light and post sunset; the outdoor greens are lit up by the artificial light seeping outwards. A symbiotic bond is thus established, which justifies the contemporary lighting plan.

Complete symmetry in design; an ideal scale of the built up area; a minimalistic and honest communiqué marks this commercial space, proving to be yet another feather that makes Farah and Dhaval Design (FADD) Studio a force to reckon with, with their very first tryst with architecture!
