This festive season, adorn your floor with a glamorous, colourful rug or let it speak the tradition of the Indian dhurrie...

Rugs and dhurries are undoubted show-stoppers and can grab eye-balls like perhaps no other element of décor! Lounge or bedside, library or baithak (living area), the allure of sinking your bare feet into the warmth and gentleness underfoot becomes the added incentive to the attractive add-on that wholesomely contributes to your décor with that extra touch of texture or colour or both!

Traditional weaves vs. modern stripes, splashes of colour and geometrics; shaggy piles, woven rugs, braided rugs, hooked rugs; you can experiment generously with them to make your room more sophisticated.

A word of caution: Make sure you protect your exquisite rugs from excessive sunlight, moth, stains and spills. And remember, dhurries stay fresh only if kept wrapped in soft muslin cloth and away from potted plants!

Feast your eyes on the manifold options of spreading your rugs/ dhurries...
